How can i get cigarettes when the whole island knows me?

I have been a smoker for a few years now and have no intention of quitting, however my family are violently anti smoking.
Until now this hasnt been a problem, and i have just smoked in secret.

The problem arises now that we have moved to orkney to run a business. I am having to live with my family and everyone on the island knows me and talks to my mother.
As a result of this i am totally unable to buy smokes from any of the shops here, which as you can imagine is a big problem.

I have absolutely no intention of ever telling my parents that i smoke (and yes i know that is juvenile at 23) as several family members would; for reasons i am not going into here, be extremely hurt.

The question then becomes - how do i get cigarettes without them knowing?

Anyone able to help would be welcome.

Could you get them by mail order? Do you ever go to the mainland on your own? How about getting a trusted friend to buy for you? Remember the old adage - where there's a will there's a way!

from very early I know the problem, since I was a child, a child, so I was not allowed to smoke legally. With you it's something different. Order cigarettes online or through any other person who buys you always cartons of cigarettes. Soon anyway, the whole island will know you smoke. You say it best to open your parents, that would be the best way, before someone else does it, because this will be the case.

I too am a closet smoker, and having increased my pleasure recently to 25-30 cigarettes per day it's getting hard, but manageable. I know I'll smoke 50 on those special days. I do have a smoking fet--- too, so being with a women who shares my passion multiples the excitement. I share your displeasure of not being able to get cigarettes because I cannot get Newports and i love them. What ever happens…happens, and if it brings you pleasure…do it…often.

Imagine : evry members of your family with her own cigarettes and blew their wonderfull smoke everywhere in your house. nothing better than a smoking family.......everybody strongly addicted to their beatiful marboro....
