Hi all, I'm just wondering what the general consensous among group members is with regards to smoking while pregnant. Personally I don't mind females smoking while pregnant and have had a girlfriend previously who smoked while pregnant (her former hubbies child). My mother smoked herself while pregnant with me and I've rarely had a medical condition in 34 yrs. I seem to be lucky enough even to avoid the flu most years aswell. But back on topic, do you love smoking enough to smoke while pregnant or if you're male, let your wife smoke while she's pregnant of her own choice? Now I know this is a very controversial issue and I know I'll probably be given the inquisition over it but we still live in a so called democracy whith our individual views. And yes I'm aware of all the medical research linked to birth defects due to smoking. I guess I'm saying this without ever seeing birth defects due to smoking myself.

My answer to your question is that I find pregnancy as big a turn off as smoking is a turn on. I've had a lifelong conviction that I don't want any children and consequently decided to have a vasectomy.
I don't find pregnant women smoking a turn on at all but I do have fantasies about girls born to heavy smoking mothers. Other than that I don't have any opinions on women smoking while pregnant.

`I'm a big fan of smoking during pregnancy, but it's got to be the woman's choice.
