Humans have been smoking for as long as they have breathed. And when it comes to smoking not even marijuana comes close to tobacco. This is because tobacco relieves fatigue whilst intimately massaging the pleasure centres of the mind. It provides a pause for thought. I smoke for health reasons – mental health reasons. Most people do.
These subdued wintry days over coffee when the wet-colour sunlight catches the silvery smoke in aromatic contemplation allow me to relax and reflect as the world rushes by. And I will stop smoking, no doubt about it, once I die.

Excellent point in that first line! The commisars like to say that ads or
movies created the market for tobacco. But people who were never exposed to either have embraced smoking.I have a photo of a young Bedouin(I think)princess smoking a cigarette back in the '20s, with other girls admiring her glam style. As for the second paragraph, I'm reminded of my great grandfather at 88 serenely smoking his Kents. He too smoked til he died-of pneumonia, not smoking.

`I don t understand why people want to stop smoking.....smoking is really great. i think that all non-smokers are boring and, in fact, they are jalous see how we look with our cigarettes. They want to smoke too but they are just stupid. i love to show my amazing pack of marlboro reds to all theses boring non-smoker and light up in front of them. I hate these people because they don t want to smell our cigarettes....it s ridiculous and i don t care about what the say. i will never stop smoking, i am proud to be a real smoker now.....
