I contacted the webmaster and got this important category installed. It seems it was somehow meant to be included, but got lost in the shuffle.
Anyway, My name is Lolia (pron. Low-Lee-Uh, accent on Lee). I'm a 36 year old smoking mother of two beautiful children, a boy and a girl. I'm married, but separated, and what the future holds for me is unknown at this point.
I started smoking at age 11. I come from a smoking family and, fortunately, I was accepted and welcomed as a smoker. I'm a menthol smoker from day 1. I've smoked Newports, Marlboros, Salems, Virginia Slims, Kools and Benson & Hedges, my current brand.
I'm also one to enjoy the occasional quality imported, hand-rolled cigar from Nicaragua, Honduras, Dominican Republic and various other countries. My favorite size is the robusto, good for close to an hour of smoking pleasure along with a good whiskey. I like semi-sweet/spicy blends the most of all.
I live in Connecticut, a not-so-smoker-friendly place, not to mention very expensive for a smoker. But cost will never deter me from something I love so much. Every time I inhale thick, rich mentholated smoke I'm in heaven. That's the way it's been ever since my first drag of mom's VS menthol 100s! I knew immediately that I would be a smoker for life. That was over 25 happy, smoke-filled years ago!
I'd love to chat with fellow smokers about our shared love of smoking - compare notes, swap stories, share secrets, get advice - whatever! But, if you're an anti on a crusade to make smokers quit, please, don't waste my time! I'm an adult. It's my life, my money, my cigarettes, my decision.
Keep smoking, and don't let the zealots ruin it for you!
