I smoke Benson & hedges i buy them from a res in idaho. Anyhow sometimes the shop I buy them from is out and i go to a different shop I usually get cartons of stale cigarettes. It pisses me off I have cartons of cigs that i have thrown away because they are stale. Anybody else experience this with there cigarettes? Or am I too finicky? I never heard of anyone else I know that knows the taste difference from fresh and stale cigs but also when there stale seems to be if you have a soft pack if you squeeze it and it feels like crackers crunching there stale. Too me stale cigs taste terrible.

On one hand, I hate stale cigarettes. On another, stale cigarettes are better than no cigarettes....
We get our cigarettes from E-Smokes (at least until they crack down on it here). They're always fresh. We also normally get enough with each shipment to last a month, so the excess cartons go in the freezer, where they're guaranteed to stay fresh. If buying online doesn't work for you, then try buying by the carton only, from a place that sells a lot of your brand.

I have a couple humidors, one for cigars, and the other I just keep cigarrete packs in.
Especially if a pack goes stale, just let it sit in the humidor for a few days to a week, with the lid open and they magically are fixed |

Jacki you store cartons in the freezer? it´s something that i never imagine, but it´s a good idea, Can i asks you something: you proved one of them sometimes just when you removed it from the freezer?

I'll normally extract a pack or two from the freezer, and drop them in my purse on my way out the door. Of course, there's already an open pack in the purse, possibly one in the car, so by the time the "frozen" cigs get opened, they've been out of the freezer and thawed for a couple of hours. Just as fresh as the day I bought them, that's always been my experience.

you know jacki , when i heard your experience with "frozen cigs", it made me remember a special brand of ciggis named pallmall ice, i prove them like 4 years ago, now they are out of the market, i remember the rich frozen kick those ciggis give me, it was a bit reagular and a bit mentholated. is funny when you remember a brand of ciggis a time after they disappear

I'm at risk of that happening to me. I smoke primarily Max 120's, which has never gone over big, like Marlboro or Virginia Slims. Every month when I order, I'm amazed that they're still around. I'm prepared for the day that they go away, even though I know it'll be a bit of a sad one, but I'm sure I'll live on.
