I love to spend time with my children and my grandchildren. My youngest son is nearly 4, so you would have to like children, the others have all moved on to their own lives. I have realised that I also need some me time and would like to meet someone to share that with.

I am genuine, honest, loyal and trustworthy, makes me sound a bit like a spaniel lol. I like nights out whether it be a nice meal or just to a few pubs for drinks, like nights in with a good film and even better company. I enjoy good conversation on most subjects. Love to walk along the beach by someones side and also love to take walks in the rain, especially without an umbrella, some might think that is a little weird but just try it. I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh, Peter Kay, carry on films you name it. I also believe a lady should be treated as such and that is something that I always do.

I am friendly, caring and tactile with a great big romantic streak that runs right through me, I love to hold my partners hand. I am straightforward and say what I think, which sometimes lands me in trouble when someone asks What do you really think? Why ask the question if you dont want to hear the answer. Brad Pitt and George Clooney dont have any competition from me, but to be honest I dont recall seeing them about in the Newcastle area. I suppose I am the typical boy next door type of man, but I am more than happy with that.
